I'm a retired easy going guy. When I started this blog in 20006, I was preparing my RV to travel in search of adventure and perhaps a new place to live. The name of the blog was On The Road With Gary. I visited Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico and decided to settle down.
I quit publishing the blog in 2008. I changed the name of the blog to Lake Chapala Expat.

How were the l brackets mounted to the roof ? Screws or some sort of tape ?

The solar panels are attached with 6 aluminum brackets that hold the panels about 3 inches off of the aluminum roof. The brackets are screwed to the roof with sealant to prevent water leaking into the rig. The wires are routed down the refrigerator vent.
