Taken from Ruben's Bar and Grill across the carretera from my San Juan Cosala camp. The lake itself is hard to see through the fence.

Hola Amigo,
Still following your adventures and enjoying your pictures. Are you staying at Lake Chapala for Thanksgiving? J and I head for D.C. for turkey day with an old friend and her family. Wish I was there, tomas
At this time, I have no definite plans for Thanksgiving. In the near future, I will probably be taking a bus to Armeria on the Pacific coast (near Manzanillo) to visit my son, Marc's esposa, Denise's mother Norma who has invited me for a visit. When you figure the cost of gasoline and tolls for the cuota carreteras, it is cheaper to take the bus than drive in my rig.
I'm a retired easy going guy. When I started this blog in 20006, I was preparing my RV to travel in search of adventure and perhaps a new place to live. The name of the blog was On The Road With Gary. I visited Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico and decided to settle down.
I quit publishing the blog in 2008. I changed the name of the blog to Lake Chapala Expat.
