I'm a retired easy going guy. When I started this blog in 20006, I was preparing my RV to travel in search of adventure and perhaps a new place to live. The name of the blog was On The Road With Gary. I visited Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico and decided to settle down.
I quit publishing the blog in 2008. I changed the name of the blog to Lake Chapala Expat.

Lovely photos!!! I am stuck here on my sofa til winter time, but your blog makes me wanna bolt the door NOW.
just for my info..what does nice land cost down there?
And, I may be oming to Mexico for a month...looking for a roundup??
I haven't inquired about any real estate yet so I don't know what the prices are. I think if I get serious about an area, I'll ask then.
