Gary, I've been able to follow your trip from Brownsville / Matamoros south using MapQuest but it would sure help if you noted the roads you're taking. Also, I've read all the previous weblog entries and I still don't know where you're headed eventually. What is your agenda? Going down the east coast kind of implies you're headed toward the Yucatan Penisula or perhaps even further south. Lots of luck with the travel and keeping in touch via the Internet and this blog. I plan to start adding GPS coordinates for some of the places I visit. I don't know some of the roads I have been on. South of Tuxpan, I was on 181 which is a toll road in some spots.
I just left a comment on my plans under the photo "Juan". Please check it out.
I'm a retired easy going guy. When I started this blog in 20006, I was preparing my RV to travel in search of adventure and perhaps a new place to live. The name of the blog was On The Road With Gary. I visited Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico and decided to settle down.
I quit publishing the blog in 2008. I changed the name of the blog to Lake Chapala Expat.
